My experience in the social field

The cornerstone for my keen interest in social interrelationships was laid early on. So I used a few opportunities to get a taste of activities that have a social connection and which are primarily about helping disadvantaged and weaker groups of people.

The internship at a youth home, for example, gave me an excellent insight into the everyday work of a social worker during my school education and showed me how complicated, challenging, but at the same time fulfilling working with people from different cultures and social backgrounds can be.

I have deepened this tendency in the course of my legal career and dedicated myself to volunteering at a community college. In this context, I prepared teaching units in German for people with a migration background and conducted them independently in a small group.

Even after completing my second state examination, I took the opportunity to further establish myself in the social field, this time with a legal background. As a legal employee at a social association, I learned to deal professionally with human strokes of fate and to deal with the resulting social law issues in a professional manner.

After that, parallel to my legal work, I devoted myself to voluntary legal advice at an employment law association. Thanks to my knowledge of social law, as a lawyer specializing in labor law, I was able to offer interdisciplinary advice and help socially disadvantaged people.
